What would you really like to say at the interview

Why do you think I want to change jobs? Because the authorities were terrible!

One of the main reasons people change jobs is dissatisfaction with management. The interviewer may even know that your former company has troubled bosses. But this does not mean that you can voice it.

Why? Because no one wants a former employee to muddy the company itself or the people with whom it worked. You never know how he might not like the new director, or even the personnel manager, and how close it will be to reality. This behavior is a huge red flag. Who wants to be told nasty things about him?
You can’t imagine what was happening in my former company with violations, taxes, safety measures and more!

If the former employer neglected ethics for profit, saved even on pencils, production was toxic, etc., then a job change is a good solution. But telling the interviewer about all this is not a good decision.

Report violations to the right places, but not to the potential employer. After all, before getting a job you should have studied the company, its reputation and other nuances. Of course, not everything can be learned in advance, but the interviewer will not understand this.
Could you be even less prepared for an interview with me?

Preparing candidates for an interview is very important and should not be neglected. What about the interviewers themselves? Very often, they have no idea who they are interviewing, and they study the resume right during the conversation. For any candidate, this is a very unpleasant practice.

However, one can benefit from this. You can, without waiting for some questions, tell the interviewer about your main achievements and experiences. You are given the opportunity to describe yourself in the best possible way - use it. And, of course, you should not pay the attention of the interviewer to his unpreparedness.
I guess you won’t take me because I'm twice as old as you

Alas, preferences in the age of candidates are relevant now. A younger team will not always be taken by an older candidate. But be that as it may, at least you should not focus on your age. Never say the phrases “When I was at your age”, “But in my times ...”, etc. Your qualifications, knowledge and experience - that’s what is important. Do not think about age, think about your professionalism, and everything will work out.
Let's get down to business - how much do they pay in your company?

It would be possible to save a lot of time if both employers and candidates were frank at the expense of salaries. Indeed, in most cases this is the main question and requirement. But, unfortunately, this game does not have such transparent rules as we would like. The question of money is discussed at the end, when you both decide whether you are interested in each other. And this rule must be followed.
